Orlando is the family chef -grilling all year round on our deck ! One of the first gifts he ever gave me was simple but thoughtful: a lunch box so he could pack my meals and eat out less-saving money and avoiding HANGRY tantrums. Lol When we go out to dinner we love trying new places. It is always a treat to slow down and savor.

We speak in music! Our favorite concert together was Sting. Orlando’s favorite song for us is Paul MacCartney -“ Maybe I’m Amazed: Since you’ve been around, I’ve been smiling all the time”— a night of live music for two would be unforgettable.

Getting married later in life means we come with full, layered lives. As we blend them, we’re also carving out space for what is sacred—us. Our honeymoon is more than a trip; it’s a symbol of this new beginning. A time to pause, connect, and celebrate the life we are creating together.

Our first date was at Rosebud for lunch—when he realized I was a “lick your plate clean” kind of gal, he knew I was a keeper! We didn’t fight over the bread, but we definitely savored the olive oil together. This dinner for two lets us relive those moments—great food, lots of laughs, and time together.

As we blend our lives and share new rituals, Orlando has come to love a good lavender or mint tea—becoming a true connoisseur of the senses, much like he is with cigars.
