Despite being closed due to the pandemic, the kind folks at the Museum of Jurassic Technology have opened their doors to us for this wedding. A long time favorite of ours, the MJT is a truly unique. With the pandemic threatening to close 1/3 of US museums, we want to do everything we can to keep this one alive. While we no longer live and Portland, we met there 12 years ago and still feel a strong connection to the city. Having both witnessed repeated instances of racism and brutality by the Portland PD during our time in Oregon, we stand with the protesters and activists who are fighting to make Portland a better place for BIPOC folks. Don’t Shoot Portland is a Black-led human rights nonprofit that advocates for accountability. By implementing art, education and civic participation within their programming, DSP strives to create social change. Their work goes beyond the current protests and we encourage you to donate in honor of our wedding, Black lives, and justice for all. Black Lives Matter.

Help us fly to our honeymoon! While travel maybe a pipe dream right now, when the pandemic is over, we plan to celebrate properly with a honeymoon in Greece and Egypt (like a couple of archeology nerds).
