Lauren and I will be doing this 4-day hut-to-hut hike through Italy’s Val di Fassa, winding along, alpine trails beneath the towering peaks of the Dolomites, including Marmolada and Sassolungo. Each day brings 4–6 hours of scenic hiking through meadows, rocky passes, and ridgelines, with time to slow down and take it all in. Evenings are spent in cozy mountain refuges, enjoying warm meals, glowing sunsets, and peaceful nights surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.

Our three days in Monticchiello will be a peaceful escape in the heart of Tuscany, filled with rolling hills, quiet mornings, a bike ride through cypress tree lined roads, and slow, intentional time together. It'll be a time for us to soak in the beauty, enjoy incredible local food and wine, and celebrate the beginning of our life together in a place that feels both romantic and timeless.

We are spending 2 nights here after our hike in the dolomites. This cute little town is right on the lake surrounded by the mountains of the dolomites. We are hoping to get to rest, enjoy mountain town vibes, and maybe jump in the water!

We will have our prep night in this town before starting our hike through the dolomites.

We will be on a quest to find the best gelato in Italy. This spot, Gelateria Dondoli in San Gimignano, is on our list, but let us know if you have suggestions in Venice, Florence, or Rome!

If you know Lauren, you know that she is a foodie! To end our honeymoon, we have a reservation at Pulejo, a highly rated Michelin star restaurant in Rome. She cannot wait for this experience.

Lauren and I will be spending a day on Elba Island beach hopping. One of the first things Lauren told me was her happiness level is correlated with how tan she is. We plan on making that happen on the beaches. We are renting a scooter when we dock, to not waste any time getting to the beaches.

Pasta and Wine, that is almost as perfect of a pairing as Lauren and I. We will enjoy the making of the pasta, but I think we will enjoying the eating and the drinking even more!
