Our church, Cornerstone Boulder, leads a mission trip to Mexico City twice per year to help young women who have been the victims of sex trafficking through El Pozo de Vida. Jeremy comes from a lower socioeconomic background and had to take out full student loans for undergrad and grad school to become a mental health counselor. He now uses his education to work with clients struggling with depression, acute PTSD, anxiety, addiction, and individuals recently released from incarceration who wish to successfully rehabilitate. It is Jeremy and Rayna's dream to have a small home with just enough land to tend to their own garden and mini therapeutic animal sanctuary, with rescue animals (primarily dogs) who need a safe place to rehabilitate and heal with love and care.
