One of our heroes was Dr. Paul Farmer, a tireless advocate for healthcare access for all, regardless of income or geography. Dr. Farmer helped to found Partners in Health, a groundbreaking organization providing high quality care in multiple countries, including Haiti and Rwanda. Dr. Farmer passed away this winter, but remains an inspiration to both of us. All funds from this gift will be donated to Partners in Health, in service of their mission to provide world-class care to those who need it most. They say good things come in small packages. Since we'll be moving to a small apartment, we're hoping to have fewer things to fit into a moving van.
