Off the east coast of Puerot Rico is the stunning and uninhabited island Cayo Icaco, where travelers can book a private or semi-private day trip to the island to explore the seas, the untouched island, and snorkle.

It is a long debate in Puerto Rico where the piña colada was first invented, some say it was the Hilton Caribé and others say the restaurant Barrachina. Either way, we’re up to the challwnge to see who makes it best!

El Yunque is the only rain forest in North America and it is a short drive from our hotel, it includes incredible hiking, waterfalls, and other natural wonders.

The Afro-Caribbean coastal neighborhood of Piñones is full of delicious authentic street food, made in the traditional fogón, the many little chinchorros (small dining stands) offer fritters made from plantain, fresh fish, oysters, and a lot sazón. You can also buy cold coconut water, drink it from the coconut itself, or try the crabmeat alcapurrias and bacalaítos (codfish fritters).

Lote 23 in Santurce is a culinary and cultural experience. filled with food kiosks and music.
