In lieu of a personal gift, please consider contributing to the charitable fund on our registry. We will distribute the funds to the following causes which are near and dear to us: 1) Catholic Charities provides so many services to those in need--counseling, homelessness, health care, etc. We volunteer at a warehouse in Chicago packing hundreds of boxes of food for distribution. 2) the conscious kid: I learned about their work through the promotion of anti-racist children's books. Among other things, this organization seeks to provide kids with books from diverse authors and experiences, that stimulate important discussions about our world, and empower youth. 3) National Park Service Foundation: We love the beauty and splendor of our National Parks and believe they should be preserved and protected for years to come.

Whether it's a cross-country road trip, spending time in Northern Michigan, or traveling to visit with friends and family, we love a good adventure. We can't wait to see and experience more places as a married couple!

We both love to read! Send us your favorite book or one that you think is really important. James is the nonfiction reader; Jamie prefers historical fiction. We both love to learn about different people, cultures, and places. James also loves cooking and exploring cookbooks :)
