We plan on hanging and framing LOTS of pictures of our beautiful family and friends from our wedding.

We will begin our adventure flying from Chicago to Athens.

We are so excited to visit Santorini island, with its sapphire blue water, snow-white architecture and multicolored cliffs. We will be spending three nights at a hotel overlooking the majestic views of the Caldera.

We will enjoy a Myconian dinner with local wine as we take in the gorgeous views.

We will leave Mykonos and fly back to Athens to get to explore the amazing ancient city.

Our Athens hotel accommodations will be at a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Plaka.

We wanted to have our first romantic dinner in Athens at a Plaka hot spot with an Acropolis view.

A romantic dinner for our last night in Athens

We will fly from Athens to Istanbul. The city straddles two continents, Istanbul blurs the line between East and West, with incredible architecture that is rivaled only by its spectacular natural setting on the Bosphorus Strait. We can't wait to experience it!

We are so excited to be spending a few days in Istanbul!

We'll take a tour of Istanbul by boat on the Bosphorus, with lunch. The tour begins with a visit to the famous Istanbul Spice Market before boarding a ferry, crossing the Bosphorus into Europe and Asia. While visiting both Europe and Asia, we'll enjoy stops along the way to photograph the 15th century Rumelihisari Fortress, as well as various summer palaces and old wooden homes. The cruise terminates at the fishing village of Sariyer, close to the Black Sea. After lunch, we'll enjoy a pleasant drive to Camlica Hill on the Asian side, via the Bosphorus Bridge, to see Istanbul in beautiful panorama. For our final stop, we'll visit the Beylerbeyi Palace, the former summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans, to see its original furnishings and formal gardens.

We'll enjoy a romantic dinner in Istanbul for the last night of our honeymoon. It will be the trip of a lifetime and we will toast to all of the amazing things we've seen & experienced on this 2 week vacation

We love our condo, but the big thing it's lacking in is storage!! With only 2 closets (total in our home), and a pedestal sink in the bathroom, we currently have 2 different small cheap plastic organizers for all of our towels & toiletries. We could REALLY use a better storage solution.

We would love to have you come visit! And if/when you do, I'm sure you would much rather sleep on something like this rather than on our couch or treadmill (*the current guest bed options)

We will arrive in Athens and catch our domestic flight to Santorini.

We'll enjoy our first night in Santorini with an authentic dinner.

We will be driven to the port where we will sail to the Red and Black sand beaches, the Hot Springs, swim in the Aegean and feast on an amazing dinner as we gaze into an unbelievable sunset.

We will trek through the cobblestone pathway as we visit villages like Imerovigli, Firostefani and the trendy village of Oia.

Today we will visit estate wineries and meet the wine producers. An expert sommelier will provide guidance as we sample several different wines.

We'll bid farewell to the beautiful island of Santorini with a romantic meal.

Our high speed ferry ride from Santorini to Mykonos

After a day of rest and relaxation at the famous beach, Platys Yialos, we'll wander around Little Venice where houses and cafes have been built directly at water level. There we'll stop in at a terrace bar.

We will exploring the trademark windmills,chapels and shops of Mykonos.

Tonight, we will enjoy an al fresco dinner as we walk through the cobblestone streets of Chora.

We will take the ferry over to the sacred island of Delos where we'll visit the famous "Row of Lions". Delos is a small island that was once the religious center of the Aegean and Cyclades Islands, and according to myth, the location of the birth of Apollo and Artemis.

All this exploring is making us hungry, time to grab a bite.

We will spend the day visiting The Parthenon, Temple of Zeus, Ancient Agora and the Acropolis with its museum. We've both studied these places and (Beth especially throughout architecture school). We are REALLY excited to see them in person!

After a morning of exploring, time to refuel with a frappe and some delicious Greek food.

After an afternoon of exploring the city, we will be ready for a lovely dinner of Turkish cuisine.

We will take time to visit museums and some key sites -- the grand Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. Haggia Sophia is a former basilica held to be the greatest example of Byzantine architecture in the world. (Another building that our little "archi-nerd" Beth is VERY excited to see in person!!)

After a day of sightseeing, we'll have quite an appetite! We'll have dinner at a table in the trendy Beyoglu district with mezedes (tapas) and Turkish wine.
