Unfortunately Thailand has to wait for the fall. So, we booked an extended weekend in Miami to get away right away. To enjoy eachother and a city neither of us has explored with Baseball, food, beaches and fun! Definitely open to suggestions that anyone can think of at all.

Obviously flying halfway across the world will not be all that cheap. Every little bit helps to safely get us there and back!

We are very fortunate to have worked hard and have a mostly fully furnished home, as is. While it may be nice to upgrade some of our existing household items, or add some tools to the garage, we have decided that we would much rather have the trip of our dreams in Thailand. From nights in jungle bungalows, to beach side dinners to scuba diving with whale sharks, every single dollar given by our friends and family will go towards a once in a lifetime memory for the two of us to carry on forever.

It is a bucket list item for both of us to get our SCUBA certifications one day. Thailand has world renowned diving and snorkel locations. What better reason, and place to be certified for than there, or our first great big adventure as Mr. and Mrs. Long? We are very fortunate to have a fantastic SCUBA school just a mile from our house that will teach us to dive over a 6 week period. A wonderful endeavor to tackle together.

With some of the best SCUBA in all of Thailand, and the best place to see the underwater beauties Maya Bay has to offer. This excursion includes transportation to and from our lodge, breakfast and lunch, and all required safety equipment for a day of diving the reefs. This is probably the the thing we are most looking forward to doing while away.

Being on the other side of the world for close to two weeks, we will certainly need to ensure we have everything we need while we are there. The proper luggage will be very helpful in making sure we always have what we need. And of course, room for souvenirs!

No one told us that weddings are so expensive! Some recovery to mend the wallet would be pretty great. Or, if honeymoon fund is more your speed, that is also wildly helpful.

This mountain-side resort is just off the beach, and a nice quiet getaway from the nightlife of the town. With In-room massages, classy restaurants and swanky lounge we will definitely be living the penthouse life while staying here.

Help get us to and from the stunning Phi Phi Island where we will be spending 3 days and 2 nights!

We do not know everywhere we will eat while we are away, but we have hand selected this location to have a nice, romantic beach-front dinner on Ko Phi Phi Island and celebratory champagne before catching the nightly fire show. Treating us to this evening would be very appreciated.
