HIAS (The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) has worked to protect, resettle and advocate for refugees and asylum seekers since 1881, and were the resettlement agency responsible for allowing Polina's family to escape Soviet Russia and come to the United States. Over the past decade, they have served as the primary resettlement agency for the City of Philadelphia and have been tireless advocates for refugees and asylum seekers facing unprecedented hardship, including providing material goods, legal aid, and social support. We would be grateful for any contribution towards this important cause!
