Our advetures in Alaska begin at the world’s largest year-round ice environment, the Aurora Ice Museum! Ceated from over 1,000 tons of ice and snow, it stays a cool 25° Fahrenheit inside. We can't wait to belly up to the ice bar and drink our Appletini's delicately served in ice glasses!!

After the ice tour our adventure continues as we ride in our military style Small Unit Support Vehicle thirty minutes up the rest of the mountain to the "Charlie Dome". Here we will have four hours of 360° unobstructed views of the Northern Lights if we are so lucky to see them! The further away you are from city lights the better, and the best way is with dim propane lights and a hot chocolate to wait for the Aurora Borealis show.

Hot stones or Swedish we haven't decided but either one is going to be a relaxing morning and a perfect start to midweek.

Caroline LOVES "Balto" so a trip to Alaska wouldn't be complete without us mushing with the sled dogs!

First time for either one of us on a snowmobile! We will taking this 45 minute tour for a thrill during our Alaskan adventure. We look forward to enjoying the scenic views of the resort. This will be the experience that makes us fall in love with Alaska!!

Our last night in Alaska we will get back in our SUSV and head back up to the Charlie Dome for a romantic sunset. One final chace to take in the isolation of the wilderness before we leave for Seattle in the morning.
