Putting together a registry was a bit of a challenge. We've both collected lots of household items over the years, most of which now resides in storage. We also don’t know where we’ll end up after Ethiopia, which makes it tough to forecast our future domestic “needs.” We really don't want anyone to feel obligated to buy anything, but we also recognize that this is a nice wedding tradition in which some friends and family will want to participate.
Our registry contains some ideas, but we would welcome your artful interpretation (i.e., something that you made or wrote or that one cannot buy online). We love anything related to travel, new experiences, and unique objects. We’ve also included two organizations that are close to our hearts, and would encourage a contribution in lieu of a gift. Truly though, what we are most excited about is seeing as many of you as possible in September, and we care about that far more than any gift.
