Since Maggie's an old dog, she loves to be carried around in a backpack on hikes! We've taken her to Pony Pasture on the James River, to hike along Great Falls, and plenty of other places with her backpack! We usually cook together, but when one of us is cooking alone, it'll be nice to be able to use this instead of trying to use the lid to strain it while also holding the pot at the same time, or for bigger things try to hold the strainer and the pot and carefully maneuver them together. (it's possible one of us may have accidentally lost a whole thing of pasta in the sink that way in college - we won't say who (T-T) )
