We are lucky to already have many of the tangible items we need for this chapter together, so we decided that the most meaningful gift to us would be a contribution to our "Newlywed Fund." We plan to put 75% of the total toward our first home together. The remainder will go into an "adventure fund" to fill our first year of marriage with exciting new experiences. We love a classic "dinner and movie" date. In fact, we went at least once a month while in college together, and have all of the movie tickets tucked away in a keepsake box. We definitely miss the $4.50 tickets we could get with our A&M student IDs, but are excited to keep this date night tradition alive as newlyweds.
