We're spending a few weeks in Namibia for our honeymoon! This fund will support general travel expenses, such as flights and lodging.

We'll climb the some of the biggest sand dunes in the world to see the camelthorn trees that have been there for centuries. Then we'll glamp in the desert nearby.

Abandoned or orphaned cheetahs have been rescued and researched for over 40 years by the Cheetah Conservation Fund research center in Otjiwarongo, Namibia. On this tour, we'll be driven through their expansive enclosures, visit their beautiful cheetahs, and watch their regular feeding.

Etosha National Parks is one of the largest national parks in Africa, and with some of the most interesting wildlife, including over 2500 African elephants and thousands of giraffes. On this game drive, a local ecologist will drive us through the park, tracking all kinds of big animals.

Since we're nearby-ish, we're going to spend some time in Zimbabwe to visit Victoria Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world, and explore the nearby national park.

Chobe National Park is well known for its large elephant population and robust communities of lions. Due to roving elephants and muddy conditions, we'll need the assistance of a specialty 4x4 vehicle and an experienced tour guide to explore the park.

The coast of Namibia is entirely desert--the Namib Desert, the oldest desert on Earth, starkly abutting the Pacific Ocean. But the flora and fauna there is uniquely suited for the unusual environment. Our hope is to find this little Palmato Gecko and make him our friend.

We're headed to visit the seals at the Cape Cross Seal Reserve. It's a (very loud and smelly) beach where all the Cape Cross fur seals rest and raise their young. ARF ARF ARF
