Each region has its own specialties, some handed down for centuries. We'll certainly be looking for great dining outdoors with a view of, perhaps, a medieval church, romantic canal, or piazza.

We will stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Rome, with a special bath, and that is central to all of the Rome sightseeing that we will be doing. They are known for exceptional service as well and a great breakfast buffet.

This calm and quiet bed and breakfast is situated in Rome's Duomo neighborhood, only 5-10 minutes walking from many of the most popular sights. Our room will be a comfortable room with a private balcony so that we can admire the Duomo at night and for breakfast in our room.

Florence is well known in part for their expert pampering, and after all of our walking in Rome and Florence, we would love to have a romantic couple's massage and Turkish style bath at SoulSpace in Florence.

We know this does not sound like an exciting honeymoon gift, yet it's a major part of traveling, and very much needed.

We are looking forward to riding Italian trains from city to city, as well as taking a shuttle to the Coast.

Café Stops and People Watching - We will be taking several coffee breaks at cute cafes along the sidewalks.

A walking tour to allow us to get some exercise and see David and the Duomo!

We are super excited to be able to go to both see the tower of Pisa and the town of Lucca, which is a small town in the Tuscany region of Italy.

We will spend a few hours at the Uffizi Gallery, seeing some of the most breathtaking renaissance art in existence!

We are in love with this traditionally decorated boutique hotel in Venice, that is right next to one of the most famous bridges in the area, yet quiet enough for us to get a great night's sleep.

On our way from Florence to Venice, we can stop in Verona and see the historic town where Shakespeare based his famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet.

We will be staying in one of the most beautiful areas of the Italian coast, Cinque Terre. Our Airbnb is located centrally in Vernazza, and we will be able to hike to the other towns easily from there. There is a wonderful sea view from the apartment as well.

Boating is one of the most popular activities in Cinque Terre, and we would love to go sailing with a local and see some of the wildlife.

We both do a lot of fitness activities weekly, so having silicon wedding bands we can wear as a replacement for when we lift weights, do martial arts, or pop into crow pose is a necessity for us.

We would love to hang this in our bedroom and as a reminder of our love for travel.
