When we first moved to San Francisco in 2010, we realized that our lease didn't prohibit dogs. Within hours of realizing that, we had applied to foster dogs with Rocket Dog Rescue in San Francisco as a trial run to owning a dog. We've fostered several Rocket Dogs and have foster failed 2...our first dog Newman and current pup Deacon. We support Rocket Dog's awesome work saving dogs from death at overcrowded shelters and helping them find loving homes.

Our love has survived the test of backpacking, but our cookware has worn out!
