BRASS Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing avalanche awareness and snow safety education for competitive skiers, snowboarders, and recreational snow sports enthusiasts. Established in memory of US Ski Team athletes Bryce Astle and Ronnie Berlack (a classmate of both of ours at Burke Mountain Academy) who tragically lost their lives in a 2015 avalanche, BRASS develops educational programs to promote informed decision-making and safer practices in backcountry environments.
