Happiness isn't about money or things. Happiness is about loving one another, and part of that is about making strong memories with the ones you love. So we're asking you to contribute to experiences where we can make some truly amazing memories together. Also, we both will be sharing a small apartment in NYC. Between the two of us, we already have quite a few things. So, the less we need to add to that, the better. :)

Between the two of us, we have enough household items to work with for now. But in a few years, it might be time for us to replace some of those things. So this money will go towards slowly upgrading our home together, but we don't want to replace everything right away - because we believe in using things until they absolutely have to be replaced.
