Traditionally, in Chinese culture, cash gifts are given to newlyweds in red envelopes (红包/hóngbāo). For those who wish to participate in this tradition, red envelopes will be provided at the reception. Alternatively, we have created a honeymoon fund on our wedding website to help us finally take our dream trip to Japan - a journey we originally planned in 2020 before the pandemic led to its cancellation. As foodies and sushi lovers, we're excited to experience the culinary wonders of Japan firsthand! As we've built our home together over our 13 wonderful years, we kindly request no physical gifts. However, we do have a special appreciation for art - any pieces by local artists or something handmade by you would be a meaningful exception and treasured addition to our home.
