We have some ground to cover! Over 19 days we will be driving a little fiat through mountain ranges, along coastal highways, and through historic cities and towns.

Wouldn't be a Simmons-Allen vacation without a few days spent trying to catch some fish! The Tara river is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and abundance of Brown Trout and Huchen. This is one of the main reasons we decided to head to this part of the world for our honeymoon.

After fly fishing, road tripping, and exploring Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro, we look forward to treating ourselves for a few days of relaxation by the pool overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea on Hvar Island. Bonus! During this week, our dear friends and wedding officiant Bryan and Julia will be joining us as they finish up their honeymoon in Greece.

1st Stop: 2 nights in Plitvice National Park hiking around waterfalls and lakes full of crystal clear water.

2nd Stop: Mostar, Bosnia. After driving through the mountains of Bosnia and Herzogovina, we will stop for the night at this beautiful little town for the night.

3rd Stop: Sarajevo, Bosnia. We plan to explore the rich and tragic history of Sarajevo by staying in Old Town, wandering the streets, and visiting the many museums.

4th Stop: Montenegro. We have an action packed few days planned in this little country. Fishing, rafting, beaching, and heading out on the town. Not quite sure where we will be staying but the plan is to land wherever the fish are jumping!

Stop 5: Dubrovnik, Croatia. This beautiful city is known for it's medieval walled Old Town, glistening waters, Terra Cotta roofed buildings, and most importantly, as the site where Game of Thrones was filmed. There is no shortage of things to see, do, eat, and drink here
