Your presence at the wedding is present enough for us. However if you'd like to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate a donation to an organization close to our hearts, Food Shift. Food is an important part of our love story. We show our love by cooking for each, plan dates around new restaurants, visit the farmer's market as a regular ritual, and on our first Costco trip, I told Nathan I wanted to marry him. We are lucky enough to eat delicious and nutritious food every day. However, many people in the Bay Area face food insecurity. Food Shift diverts food that would be wasted (surplus edible food) from wholesale produce markets and grocery stores to families in the community. Food Shift is also led by our good friend (and ceremony officiant) Yuka Nagashima. Donations to Food Shift help the team fight food waste and keep our community well fed.
