Octavio and Mindy are ADOPTING! Lavell is an 8-year-old boy from Chicago, IL that loves baseball, basketball, exploring outdoors and video games. We have recently been approved to be his forever home, and we are very excited! Lavell is a highly intelligent, nurturing, kind child that has had a hard start to life. After spending years in foster care, he was to finally be adopted this spring. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, his prospective family changed their mind, and he was returned to his foster family. We thank them - because he is a perfect addition to our family and we're thrilled to welcome him home! We want to show him that there's a village ready to support him, so our registry includes funds for sports equipment, school supplies, grocery fund for a growing boy, and college fund.
