We are huge West Wing fans and one of our favorite episodes is when Pres. Bartlett sends his aid to get him a new carving knife. Bartlett is indecisive and keeps sending him out for another one. At the end of the episode, Charlie asks him why it’s so important. Bartlett explains that a carving knife is with your family for the big events. It’s something that should be passed down, an heirloom. Then he gives Charlie his family’s knife, forged by Paul Revere. By this point, we are usually sobbing. So, this particular number was picked with great care and means so much to us as we think about all the holidays and gathering we will share.

Kellie has spent way too many years in retail to not appreciate a good steamer. She might be a little too excited for this item.

Here in the Galan/Hobgood house we believe in nice things. (You might not know it by looking through the house but we’re getting there!) We believe in sharing great big meals with family and friends.
