Years ago, we bought a midcentury credenza from an estate sale in the city. We paid cash and left to rent a truck to drive it back to our apartment. When we came to pick up the credenza, the sale was winding down, and the owner GAVE us this beautiful teak sofa for free. The catch? It needs all new upholstery and cushion foam.
