Maine Needs is a citizen-run group that began in a Portland garage 4 years ago in an effort to link people wanting to donate gently used items and those in need. They have donated thousands of items to Mainers in all 16 counties, from winter gear and toys to cleaning supplies to diapers. Donations to Maine Needs support our neighbors to meet their needs.

Max and Molly live on unceded territory of the Wabanaki people. Over 12 million acres of land were illegally seized from the tribe and their children are taken into foster care at 5 times the rate of non-Native children. Donations to the Wabanaki Alliance fund their ability to fight for tribal sovereignty, land return, and the protection of their children.
