Your love and presence is truly gift enough!! But for those asking, we really appreciate you wanting to gift us even more. We currently live in a small studio apartment, so while we are not looking to add any physical items to our small space, we so appreciate any contribution to making such special memories in Italy for our honeymoon!! We were generously gifted a stay at the apartment of Mary's high school Italian teacher (and now lifelong friend) at her place in Florence, giving us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fulfill a bucket list item of vacationing in Italy. This was one of Mary's favorite memories from her visit to Florence when she was 16. Climbing all 463 of the very ancient (and very narrow!) steps, seeing Giorgio Vasari's 'The Last Judgment' on the ceiling up close along the way, and getting the most beautiful panoramic views of the city at the top of il Duomo. It is so moving to experience history this way!
