Dogs in Kenya are often malnourished, hurt, and abused as a part of a horrible system of puppy breeding and abuse. Recently, they suffered an arson attack as retribution for the work they do. Consider supporting our friend, Jackson Nyahayo. A former child soldier in the Burundian Civil War, he fled and lived homeless in Lusaka until making it to Canada. He attend medical school and returned to Burundi to establish Ubuntu Medical Clinic (a first in the nation). Ubuntu provides lifesaving healthcare to a community facing severe medical shortages and an influx of refugees from DRC- which he is covering out of pocket. He is currently fundraising to get oxygen for his clinic.
