We'll be kicking our honeymoon off with 5 mights in Madrid at the NH Palacio de Tepa hotel. The hotel is set in a beautiful 19th-century palace designed by the architect of the Plaza Mayor. It’s in the Barrio de "Las Letras" neighborhood, the historic center of Madrid’s literary scene. We will be minutes away from the Gran Vía Shopping area and just a short stroll away from some of Spain’s most famous monuments such as the the Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Puerta el Sol, Teatro Real, and the Madrid de los Austrias.

We's like to frame a photo we took of the Sydney Opera House the night we got engaged and hang it in our bedroom.

In case you were not sure, we love to eat. Anyone who facilitates the process has a very special place in our hearts.

Wine has a special place in our hearts. When you come visit us we'd love to have some bottles at the ready to go temperature.

We'd love to take this tour to get our bearings of the city, taste some Spanish essential foods and get recos for other things to eat during our stay.

We love our furry friends, but not what they leave behind. We'd love to make sure that after hangin' out at our humble abode, you leave free of pet-hair.

Dust: our only weakness. ;) Ethan's dad, Matthew, tells us that it's mostly dead skin. Lovely.

We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and this mat would help take some of the stress off of our feet. The 6 foot one is also long enough that we can both stand on it at the same time.

The Prado museum is the main national Spanish art museum and features one of the world's finest collections of European art, dating from the 12th century to the early 20th century, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection, and unquestionably the best single collection of Spanish art. We'd love to have an expert guide us through a highlights tour.

We make pancakes and burgers pretty regularly and this gives us great space for that.

Another gift that we'll get a lot of use out of with all of the cooking we do. This one means we can replace our plastic measuring cups which Ethan feels never really get clean.

We've got espresso cups but no little spoon for those cups. These would be perfect.
