I (Kees) ended up in Lisbon on a work trip--but just for two hours! I facetimed Manila the while I walked around because the city was incredible. We were planning a big trip to Portugal for 2020 to explore properly, but our timing was more than a little off! We've been wanting to go ever since, but decided to do it as our honeymoon. We can't wait to see Lisbon, Porto, and all the sights and relax a little together.

A couple years ago now we moved into a nice old house that's full of character -- it was built in 1911, well over 110 years old now! There's a lot to love about it, but it needs a little work too. We discovered one of our bathrooms wasn't built quite right, and can't be used until we renovate it.

Our yard could use a little TLC -- we think we might even have a secret parking spot that got overgrown in the 1960s (according to the archive photos we found with the City of Seattle). We'd love to attack the vines and see what we can find!

It's natural to go out on a weekend, but why not make a weeknight memorable? Any funds going towards one of our favorite activities: going out when everyone else is in. Any contributions to this item on the registry will strictly be used to make an ordinary weeknight into something special.

We're always on the lookout to expand what we can do in the home kitchen, and we've had a lot of fun with cooking lessons before! We'll make it a date night, thanks to you.

Wedding planning can be a lot of fun--who doesn't love an excuse to force all your favorite people to come together and celebrate you? It can also be a little stressful though! We'd love to do a couples massage after the wedding to de-stress a little and think back on all the new, incredible memories we've made with you all!

Call us old-fashioned, but one of our favorite ways to spend an easy night is with dinner and a movie in a theater. It helps us disconnect a little!

We've been busy wedding planning, but we've had our eye on a "banchan bonanza" to start learning how to cook Korean food. It's a class here in Seattle, and we'd love to go!
