Bucket List item for Thailand - spend a day with an elephant. And yes we will be as excited as the people in the photo :) After much extensive research to find a humane elephant sanctuary in Thailand, Mandy and Josh are thrilled that they will be able to have this once in a lifetime experience. Patara Elephant Farm is an elephant sanctuary for mistreated elephants in Thailand. Their program teaches a small group of visitors to take care of their own elephant for a day - including ensuring it's health, feeding and bathing the elephant, and really bond with the elephant!
