This Two Battery Northern Tour is an adventure through the northern part of Barbados, with a stop at The Prestigious Sandy Lane Green Monkey Golf Course and lots of green monkeys! What better way to spend your vacation than touring the northern part of the island? This adventure requires two bike batteries and a stop at Piece of Barbados for a battery swap and a water stop before the ride back to Main Event. you'll be able to see where it all started for one of todays biggest pop stars, Rihanna; as you see her house, as well as some amazing high-priced architecture, stunning private estates, and much more!
Dont forget about the green monkeys! They're everywhere, and theyre adorably cuteyou can get up close and personal with them at Sandy Lane Green Monkey Golf course or on your own time at a beach. Another amazing part of the tour is the beautiful west coast beaches! (Participants are required to carry a 15lb backpack).

2 Battery Northern Tour for 2 - Bridgetown

The Mount Gay rum tour at the Visitor Centre is truly a Barbadian Experience! Rum is more than a social lubricant here on the island of Barbados. Its the history, culture, and essence of the island poured over ice. Barbados is considered the birthplace of rum, so what better way to start your tour than at Mount Gay Distillery founded in 1703.
Afterwards, head out of the city to the tranquil estate of St. Nicholas Abbey where you will see a wealth of tradition, including antiques and artifacts spanning the homes 350 year history. A lunch of Barbadian cuisine is also available to purchase while on this tour, but not before you taste the 8,10 and 15 year old St Nicholas Abbey made Rum, very different from the Mount Gay blend.
Finally visit Huntes Gardens which is centrally located in lush hills of St. Josephs, this is the center of Barbados rainforest, in a sink-hole-like gully. Thanks to such an interesting location, the tour offers a multi-dimensional experience, with vigorous plants densely growing on many levels.
Ending your tour in the upper level of the garden in Mr. Anthony Huntes home, be sure to taste his ginger lemonade, and of course, his rum.

This tour takes you for a relaxing and informative stroll through the quaint town of Speightstown which is always awash with activity but somehow maintains its British colonial charm. This tour package, which is tailored for small groups, is aimed at maximizing the authentic experience of a Speightstown tour through the eyes of an informed local.
You will get to learn the stories behind 17th-century architecture and historic buildings as you experience the sense of development which is evident by the integration of modern architecture. Tour the first floor of the Arlington House Museum and visit the forts that Little Bristol used for protection.

Food stalls and barbeque grills line the street on one side and the beach on the other, selling THE best seafood. Friends congregate around the casual benches, catching up on the island events and slamming dominoes. A party atmosphere is a good way to describe it. However, the food at the Oistins fish fry is always the main draw for locals and visitors alike. The aromas of fresh but perfectly seasoned fish being expertly sizzled on open grills is just incredible.
Dancing is a must at the fish fry. Even if youre not the most natural of movers, the infectious beats find their way into the soles of your feet. Remember there are a few stalls with local vendors selling jewellery, pottery, ceramics, leather craft, clothing, accessories and original paintings and prints, the perfect souvenirs!
