This is Vince’s favorite item on all the registries. He loves all gadgets and is excited to have one that will clean for us.

We are excited to explore more of Hawaii and enjoy this stagaxing experience. Here is the description of the tour we hope to do: “ Start your adventure in quaint Hilo town where you’ll drive along the historic waterfront before arriving at Rainbow Falls. This iconic waterfall right off a postcard features an 80 foot tall twin waterfall system. Look for the rainbow effect that gives the waterfall its name! Continue traveling up the Wailuku River to Boiling Pots. Impressive photo opportunities are often found here when the river “boils” through depressions in the rocks. Explore Kaumana Caves, part of the lava tube system that brought lava 1.5 miles from Hilo-town in 1881. Take a peek inside the cathedral-like space before tucking into a quick picnic-style lunch atop the caves. Next, you’ll travel across Saddle Road between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, two of the tallest and most massive volcanoes on Earth. Your National Park Service trained guide will discuss the volcanology, geology, and history of these monstrous wonders, as well as providing in-depth narration on the various lava flows and flora and fauna that you’ll be passing by. While you’re taking in the breathtaking terrestrial views, your guide will prepare some heavenly views just as stunning. Setting up a state of the art solar telescope for your viewing pleasure, your specially trained guide will let you safely watch the sun come alive in true color with vibrant solar flares, sunspots, prominences and any other current activity weather permitting. Lastly, your guide will take you to one of our preferred locations on Mauna Kea for nighttime stargazing. You’ll observe deep sky and planetary objects through a large aperture Dobsonian telescope under one of the darkest and most pristine skies on planet Earth! Our Dobsonian telescopes are a true purist’s experience to view the night sky. Their fast focal ratio enables you to see sprawling wide field views of objects that simply aren’t possible with the types of telescopes used by other tours. Depending on what is visible in the current sky and weather permitting, you’ll observe galaxies, nebula, star clusters, planets, double star systems, the moon, and much more; all the highlights and showpiece objects like you’ve never seen before! Afterwards, warm up with Mauka Meadows 100% Kona coffee, hot chocolate, and a delicious dessert from our local artisan baker before returning to your resort. Warm jackets provided. Approx 7 hours.”

The luau is at the Hilton Waikolola Village resort we are staying at. The price includes the show, dinner buffet and unlimited drinks. We are hoping to attend the luau our first night in Hawaii to kick off our honeymoon.

One of my best men went on this experience and said it was one of the best things he has ever done. The picture is from when he did this experience. It is to swim with manta rays at night off of Kona, Hawaii.

Our favorite summer activity is going to concerts on the capital square in Madison. We always bring drinks, snacks and play cards. It would be great to have a table for it!

Anyone thats knows Vince knows he is obssessed with dogs. For a while now I have been saying we could get a dog once we were married and I guess its almost that time. The plan is to adopt a dog from Underdog Pet Rescue in Madison WI. Adoption costs $275 for an adult dog and $350 for a puppy. However, as any pet owner knows there are always more start up costs. Any amount will help us. Thank you!

One of the things we want to do most in Hawaii is to make a memory hiking somewhere breathtaking. Taking in Hawaii's unique landscape and looking at the amazing nature around us. Here is the description of the hike from the website: “Exploring Hawaii Island’s explosive side on foot is what this tour is all about. Explore Kilauea’s most recent eruption.Hike to Kilauea’s historic lava flow from 2018, An imposing 40 foot tall wall of black lava covering the highway, and follow the flow to where it entered the ocean and changed the shape of the island. Step over cracks and sink holes left behind by the eruption in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Tour also visits Volcano Winery, Kaumana Caves, Kilauea Iki, Volcano House and Steaming Bluffs. Tour includes a two mile hike on partial pavement and one mile hike on black lava plus shorter walks. Picnic lunch and Hawaiian-Style BBQ dinner all included.Approx 9 hours.Explore Kilauea’s most recent eruption and historic lava flows.Exploring Hawaii Island’s explosive side on foot is what this tour is all about. Hike Kilauea lava flows dating back to 1881 up to the historic flows of 2018. Head out of Hilo to the Puna Coast, location of the historic 2018 eruption, first stop is Mackenzie State Recreation Area. The highway here was closed by the marching 40 foot tall wall of crumbly a’a lava as it continued to the sea. Take a hike along the now-closed highway, and then follow the lava flow through the pine forest to the altered coastline and cliffs overlooking the new black sand beach. Isaac Hale Beach Park is next. Lava floes encircled this popular Park miraculously sparing the infrastructure while completely destroying everything around it. Be sure to check out the boat launch ramp, now sitting in a pond cut off from the ocean by a natural berm of lava. Don’t forget to look for steam still rising from the cooling lava as you drive across it, along with the infamous “Fissure 8” erupting in the heart of Lelani Estates subdivision. Picnic-style lunch is served here at the Park weather permitting. Next travel to the crown jewel of the Big Island, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Briefly visit the Kilauea Iki Overlook before heading off on foot down the paved road to Keanakakoi. Check out the activity here from the historic 2018 eruption which buckled the road and caused racks and sinkholes. You’ll get a birds-eye view of the Kilauea Caldera and the enormous Halema’uma’u Crater, along with views of the trail you will take into the Caldera. This trail has been used to hike into the caldera since being established in 1846. Mark Twain was once rescued by native guide Alex Lancaster using this trail. It’s about 2 miles roundtrip taking you past the famous Sulphur Banks, through ancient forests of tree ferns, some as old as 1,000 years. Look for native birds, such as the yellow ‘amakihi and the red ‘apapane. Huge boulders came to rest here during ancient rock slides and eruptions. Look for marks left by previous visitors such as Benjamin Boyd, a Scot, and John Webster, a California artist, from back in 1851. Reaching the floor of Kilauea Calder there is an incredible rock slide to your left, evidence of the 2018 eruption, and Halema’uma’u Crater before you. The Crater increased in size during the eruption with the lava lake draining out of it leaving behind an enormous 1,000 foot deep pit. Return to civilization at Volcano House for some beautiful views. Visit Volcano Winery, the southernmost winery in the United States. The Winery remained open daily throughout the eruption despite hundreds of earthquakes every day. Drive over cracks left in the road to the Winery, reminders of the summer of 2018. Take a private tour of the vineyard and winery then sample up to eight different types of wines, varying from sweet to dry, and all with a unique Hawaiian flare. The Volcano Winery also has estate grown teas to taste and soft drinks and water are also included. After sampling beverages, you’ll enjoy a hearty Hawaiian-style BBQ dinner with a complimentary glass of your choice of Volcano Winery wine or other beverage before returning to Hilo”

During quarentine Vince took up the hobby of making bread. This would help take his bread baking to the next level.
