In 1952, fifteen compassionate people came together to establish a safe haven for their community's lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. On February 7th, 2024, Macy and Griffin adopted their beloved Ekaterina from this shelter. With the generous support of their donors, the Crawford County Humane Society can continue to provide quality care and find loving, permanent homes for their adoptable pets, like Kat.

Paul’s Place is a lifeline for those navigating challenging barriers to food, shelter, medical care, benefits, and more. Their mission is to improve the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore, through programs and services such as laundry and showers, hot lunch, case management, access to a peer recovery advocate, computer access for job searching, a culinary training program, and elementary level after-school programs. Griffin spent many hours volunteering at Paul's Place during the pandemic.

Orphan Kitten Club’s mission is to build innovative programs that save the lives of the most vulnerable felines. They create a safer world for neonatal kittens by building and enhancing kitten programs nationwide, offering lifesaving funding to shelter kittens in need of medical assistance, advancing veterinary pediatrics through ethical research, & providing specialty care in their San Diego based nursery. Macy is a monthly donor to help endangered kittens like Kit who are most at risk.

Macy and Griffin have been frequent patrons of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and one of their first dates was to see Ravel's Piano Concerto at Heinz Hall. Gifts of all sizes provide the foundation for the Pittsburgh Symphony to continue performing at the highest levels while they innovate to engage new audiences, forge new partnerships, and reach deeper into the community. By donating, you inspire fellow Pittsburghers through the power of music, and make the region a better place to live.

Macy volunteers with Literacy Pittsburgh twice weekly, tutoring an adult one-on-one to improve their English language skills. For those who were left behind or those who just arrived, Literacy Pittsburgh helps adult learners earn a high school credential, learn English, obtain U.S. citizenship, go on to college and better jobs, and improve their reading, writing, math, or computer skills - making a difference for individuals, their children, the workforce, and the greater Pittsburgh region.
