The Melia is situated on Cable Beach where white sands meet turquoise waters on this lively, but never overcrowded beach.

We cam doze in a hammock as the balmy breezes blow across the sea; bask in the warm Bahamian sun on our private beach, snorkel, kayak, or head to our beachfront pool for a refreshing dip. Natural beauty surrounds us, as do many exciting activities in and around the water.

A perfect fusion of adventure and excitement which combines tubing on the river and a little relaxation on the Bamboo Beach Club beach, where we can sip a cocktail, listen to good music and enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea, indulging ourselves in Jamaican hospitality!

We will be taken along a beautiful white sand beach that is lined with coconut palms. As we gallop down the beach we will be engulfed in the pristine colors of the ocean. As we return down the beach we will ride through Gumbalimba Park and head over to the western tip of the island. We will then ride through the grassland and enter majestic Tabyana Beach. Here we can refresh ourselves in the crystal clear waters and relax on the beach.

We will step back to Mayan times: admire the ruins in Lamanai, famous for their majestic architecture surrounded by thick rainforest. In the Yucatan Mayan language, Lamanai means “city of the submerged crocodile”. A marvellous ecosystem formed by the most varied exotic species appears before our eyes as we sail. We also have the chance to try a delicious Belizean dish cooked in local coconut oil and seasoned to perfection. Another stop will be at AyinHa Eco Park where we have all the time in the world to relax and try tropical beverages like the famous Belikin beer produced in Belize and local rum.

A truly unforgettable experience, we will come face to face with dolphins in the blue waters of the Caribbean! And after this magical adventure, more fun awaits us in the wonderful Chankanaab Park. We can enjoy lunch at "The Dolphin View" Restaurant, snorkeling, a beautiful lagoon, botanical gardens, Tequila Village, and the Mayan Spa.

We can enjoy our favorite drinks available by the glass at any time of the day. Coffee and cappuccinos for when we want an energy boost, refreshing soft drinks and beers to enjoy by the pool, the most popular aperitifs, and a fantastic selection of wines and liqueurs.

There is nothing better than a 1960s style flaming dune buggy to explore the beautiful scenery of Costa Maya, driving on aimlessly. Half way through the route, we stop for a break on the beach to relax and have some fun. This excursion is a must because we love adventure and the sea.
