The goal of the Bison Conservation and Transfer Program is to rehome Yellowstone-origin bison to Native American Tribes and support the ecological and cultural conservation of the species. 112 Yellowstone Bison were relocated to the Fort Peck Indian Reservation earlier this year, also preventing the culling of bison in Yellowstone. www.yellowstone.org/bison-conservation/
