Cape Coast Castle is another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and was one of the departure points for Africans being sent into slavery in the Americas. The castle is home to the “Door of No Return”.-Boat cruise on the Volta Lake, visit the Akosombo Dam for a guided tour of the Hydro Electric Dam.-Visit will be to the largest Tilapia farm in the region. Tilapia has become a delicacy all over the world. There is no better place to experience Tilapia farming at first hand than the Akosombo area.

We will spend the day exploring the capitol named Kigali, while we await transfer to our forest lodging accommodations!Kigali serves as a central location before venturing into the dense depths of Nyungwe Forest – the best-preserved rainforest in Central Africa – or into Volcanoes National Park in search of the critically endangered mountain gorilla. Spending the day doing mostly 'Jenn stuff' visiting markets, villages, and local communities...Our accommodations will lodge us upon arrival and departure once returning from the gorilla trek to venture on to the next country of the LFVF Africa tour.

Nature X Adventure the couples favorite! We're looking forward to lodging in the middle of a forest, trekking in the park where Dianne Fossey once conducted her inspiring research, visiting with 1 or 8 of the family of gorillas (pending their schedules), spotting the endemic golden monkeys and hiking along the twin lakes...There will also be mountain biking and visiting the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village.

We're ending our month long honeymoon east of where we started! Maldives, an OG travel bucket list location since our very early dating days...Theres no way we were leaving our honeymoon without checking this off the list!

I mean this pic says it all! We'll be spending 2 nights in an Ocean Beach Villa with pool @ Six Senses Lamu...Six Senses Laamu is the only resort in the Laamu Atoll, in the south of Maldives. It is located on Olhuveli Island which is a 35 minute inter-island domestic flight away from Male International Airport to Kadhdhoo, followed by a short speedboat ride

We split our lodging between an Ocean Beach Villa & a Laamu water villa on the beach side to experience both stays and not be entirely isolated from other humans! LOL
