Gabe and I love going for leisurely car rides. We are excited to see such incredible views on the 17 Mile Drive and to stop for a bite to eat!

There is something about a monarch butterfly that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature. Gabe and I hope to see some of these winged creatures as we bumble around downtown Pacific Grove.

Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, St. Clare's Retreat is one of my favorite places in the world. It's truly a divine place and I am eager to share the experience with Gabe!

Amy and I have grown in our Catholic faith immensely over the last two years and are looking forward learning more as we enter into the vocation of marriage. Help our library grow!

DiCicco's has a special place in our hearts. Both of our families enjoyed the Italian restaurant in Fresno (we still argue which location in Fresno is the best!). In Merced, it was where I first told my friends I could see myself marrying Gabe! Both of our parents met with us to celebrate our engagement (the same day as Gabe's 30th birthday). With all that history it only made sense to have our wedding reception at DiCiccios! Can't wait to see you there!

Birding is our new favorite hobby! With Merced being on the "Pacific Flyway," we get to enjoy many types of migrating species at our local bird sanctuary.

A classic...need we say more

Amy and I both love to watch nature documentaries. For one of Amy's birthdays, I got to go to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo with the Dieu family. Our favorite exhibits were the Sea Lion Cove and the African Safari!

Although Gabe has never been, Amy loves the Playhouse Merced venue and is excited to attend a play with her soon-to-be husband!

Gabe and I met swimming at the gym pool. One of our first "friend" dates was meeting up for an early morning Saturday swim and enjoying some well deserved treats at Toni's Courtyard Cafe.

Amy and I randomly stumbled upon this gourmet restaurant right off Hwy 99. What a hidden gem! It's one of our favorites!

The Indian restaurant Tumeric saw our love blossom as were regulars before and after we started dating! It's one of our favorite places to eat in Merced.

Amy and I are excited for a day of bird watching by the coast followed by some world famous lobster rolls! Mmm...

Amy's brother raves about the famous Chart House he frequents during business trips to the coast. We are both thrilled to finally experience the food and the view!

So simple and yet this just may be one of our favorite gifts! Gabe and I are both morning people. Breakfast followed by a walk to the beach make for a perfect start to the day!

Romance is in the air!

Gabe and I love California's central coast. Before we were dating, we took a day trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The jelly fish and octopus exhibits were our favorite! We are looking forward to going back, this time as husband and wife!

Sea lions, deer, and an endless list of birds. Gabe and I are packing our hiking boots and binoculars for our trip to Point Lobos!

Gabe loves nature, and has inspired Amy to be more adventurous in the outdoors. What better way for Gabe to share his love of hiking than with a National Park Annual Pass.
