Our dog Remy was adopted from the Human Rescue Alliance (HRA) in 2019, and it is a cause near to our hearts. HRA honors more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. The Humane Rescue Alliance is a nonprofit organization committed to safeguarding animal welfare in the Washington, D.C. area through activities such as rescuing, providing medical care, and promoting adoption. Their efforts extend to community outreach and education, advocating for responsible pet ownership and addressing issues related to animal cruelty.
