We are so excited about our first trip to Costa Rica! We'll be staying in a Jungle Suite at the Awa Beachfront Resort, where Lisa can hang out with her fellow sloths right out our back door!

We'll be flying from Columbus to San Jose, Costa Rica, leaving on October 26, returning on November 1. Lisa tried to make it a one-way trip forever, but Kristy said something about "having bills to pay." Lisa's not sure what she's talking about.

The Bribri are Costa Rica's largest indigenous group, living in the remote Talamanca region, known for their strong connection to nature, matrilineal society, and preservation of their language and traditions. We want to embrace this culture, and possibly walk around in the forest topless and in loin cloths - always representing our family and friends in the best way!

One of the things on our bucket list, which could also be on our "Fear Factor" list, is ziplining! What better way to face death, or death-of-embarrassment-when-the-zipline-bends, than doing it through a Costa Rican jungle! If we live, we will tell you all about it!
