Help us commence our journey by sending us from Cali to South Africa, and help us finish her off right by flying us back home from Bali!

We will kick off our trip in South Africa where we'll visit family friends while skirting the coastline, dipping into both Cape Town and Durban. We will make our way north through Mozambique and cross through Zimbabwe, with all eyes on Victoria Falls. Moving north we will stop over at Lake Malawi and then head to Tanzania, making pitstops in her many national parks as well as venturing to Zanzibar and the Spice Islands. While in Tanzania we will both be working on volunteer projects.

From Africa, we will fly north to the Holy Land, landing first in Jordan where we will visit the ruins of Petra as well as the Dead Sea. We will then cross into Israel to visit family and friends while exploring Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Shifting gears, we will next head to India, and rather than take on this colossal country top to bottom, we will simply bite off the southern bit for a few weeks, leaving the unabridged India trek for another time. Along with volunteer work, we will visit the Kerala backwaters, Kochi, Goa, and Madurai, while fusing into our travels healing doses of yoga and Ayurveda.

From India we will take things easterly to the mythic land of Myanmar (Burma), exploring Bagan, Inle Lake, and possibly scooting south to the swoonworthy beach of Ngapali.

And lastly, we will sail further south, aiming to land ourselves on some glittering equatorial dot of sand, quite possibly amidst the rice paddies and palms of Bali for a blissful heap of proper honeymoon relax and rejuve!
