B&GC of Burlington is of special significance to David. When living in Vermont, he volunteered at the club and taught local youth how to ski during the winter months. Of course the kids loved him -- so much so they nicknamed him "Trash Man."

Katie grew up visiting the local YMCA and volunteered here throughout her youth. She is an advocate for early childhood and elementary school education, and the Y provides scholarship support to ensure equitable access for all so that all families have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

David wants activities, Katie wants to relax on a beach, so they compromised with an African safari honeymoon. They are hoping to catch the tail end of the Great Migration in the Masai Mara before unwinding on the white-sand beaches of Mozambique.
