We have a dream of buying property in upstate NY, where we can split our time with NYC, host retreats, family gatherings, and one day have space for our kids and numerous dogs (we're thinking 5-20) to run around happily. This money will be put toward our goal!

We toyed around with a few ideas, skiing the Alps, touring Spain, but ultimately we have decided to spend our honeymoon touring Italy for two glorious weeks in May 2026. From Venice, to Florence, to Rome, and finally to Sorrento, we will spend our time doing what we love most - learning and exploring (and maybe a little eating and shopping too). One of the stops on our honeymoon will be Venice. While we are there we want to take a tour of St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace to learn about the history of this sinking city!

We are very excited to visit Florence for one portion of our honeymoon. As a way to learn about the incredible history of the birthplace of the Renaissance we want to take a full-day tour of the city that will show us the artwork of Botticelli and Brunelleschi's Duomo. They say that one of the best ways to see Rome is in the evening, by golf cart, so that's exactly what we plan to do when we go to Rome. When in Rome!

Stephanie has always wanted to see the Vatican. I'm not kidding. Ever since she read Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code at age 17, she has felt a pull toward the seat of religious power in Italy. When I mentioned Italy as a possible honeymoon destination, she immediately asked if we could go to the Vatican. Contributing to this fund will help make her dream come true!

Our honeymoon will take us to the legendary ruins of Pompeii, where the eruption of Mount Vesuvius practically froze the city in time. We want to tour these ruins to get a taste of what life was like in Ancient Rome. Contributing to this fund will help Leslie nerd out on all things Ancient Rome!

We've been told that we can't miss Quattro Leone when we are in Florence. Contributing to this fund will pay for an extraordinary meal of pear and pecorino-filled pasta and Florentine steaks. Yum!

What better way to spend the day on the Amalfi Coast than by taking a boat to the island of Capri to explore the Blue Grotto? Contributing to this fund will allow us to set sail!
