We'll be heading from D.C. to Venice to being our honeymoon!

We will enjoy a meal by Chef Niko Romito, whose cooking philosophy is unique, using innovative techniques to enhance the intrinsic flavors of often unfashionable ingredients from the region.

We'll be leaving Rome and heading back D.C.!

Located right next to the Vatican City, the 4 star hotel Michelangelo Rome is only a 15-minuet walk from the Tiber River and Castel Sant’Angelo. We will be spending 4 nights at the Michelangelo Rome hotel as we explore Rome and celebrate New Years Eve before we head home!

This experience will start as all great Italian evenings do, with prosecco, traditional Italian aperitivi and conversation. Then, it’s time to learn how to make pasta – from scratch! We'll be doing it all ourselves, from mixing the ingredients to kneading the dough, rolling it and shaping it into two different types of pasta.

We will begin our trip in Venice, then off to Naples and Sicily. Finally, we will be heading to Rome to celebrate the New Year before heading home!

We'll have dinner at Pappacarbone, a restaurant Anthony Bourdain said was a "must-visit," in Naples. We'll eat spaghetti with seafood, eggplant rolls with provolone, mezzanelli genovese, fritto misto all’Italiana, and more!

Located in the heart of Rione Monti, BlackMarket features a raw venue with dim lighting, second hand vintage furniture and an array of nooks and crannies perfect for curling up into and enjoying a great mixology cocktail. We'll have a round of drinks as we explore the daily art exhibitions.

Two tickets to a performance by one of Italy’s most prestigious conservatoires. We will enjoy a thrilling performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s classic opera ‘La Traviata’, performed by the renowned I Virtuosi dell'Opera di Roma in the spectacular setting of the Salone Margherita Theatre.

We'll finish off the day at Il Gelato di San CrispinoBranch, an artisan ice-cream shop with flavors from fresh walnut & fig to ginger & cinnamon.

We will explore the famous sites and hidden charms of Venice on this walking tour, followed by a ride through the city’s canals on an iconic gondola. We can't wait to learn the fascinating history of Venice as we wander through narrow alleys and over stone footbridges, and then hop aboard a Venetian gondola for a leisurely ride along the Grand Canal.

Pizza Zizza Caffetteria Birreria Desserteria is one of the best places to snag a pizza in Rome! Located in Via delle Fornaci, the pizzaria has all the different types of pizzas that you can imagine. We'll enjoy a slice, or two, or ten.

We'll head to the Centrale del Caffe for a morning cup of espresso!

We will visit the Doge's Palace and walk through the city with our guide. We will learn more about the Doge's Palace: ancient head office of the Doge, symbol of the city and a masterpiece of the Venetian Gothic, then explore Venice. This combined guided tour with a visit to the city of Venice and the Doge's Palace with an expert guide will be a great way to kick-off our stay in Venice!

We will begin our trip in Venice, then off to Naples and Sicily. Finally, we will be heading to Rome to celebrate the New Year before heading home!

After we eat all the pasta that Italy has to offer, we are going to visit the famous Terra Costantino vineyards in Sicily. This 3 hour tour will being with a look at the vineyards and the wine-making process, and finish off with wine tastings and hor d'evours in the cellar.

While we're in Sicily, we'll spend time exploring the glorious Duomo of Monreale, Cathedral and Cloister and the Medieval town of Cefalù during this half-day trip from Palermo. We'll travel to Monreale for a 1-hour Duomo tour. Next, we'll travel to charming Cefalù for a tour that includes the Duomo, Medieval lavatory, and the Mandralisca Museum.

After a long-day of tours, we'll have dinner and cocktails at Hotel De Russie's Stravinskiy Bar. We'll relax on the beautiful terrace and enjoy some Italian favorites in the heart of Rome.

From Piazza della Rotonda to Piazza Navona to admiring the Pantheon, we'll go on a walking tour through the most characteristic and famous squares of Rome.

We'll enjoy a variety of Sicilian pastries with our morning espressos at this local pasty shop as we walk through the streets of Sicily!

We'll rent a Fiat and drive around as we explore Sicily!
