We dream of escaping to solitude in the beautiful mountains and sea of Northern Spain. We look forward to an adventure filled with lots of hiking, eating tapas and exploration of our new country!

Our current vacuum has seen better days- much better days haha. We are excited to get a cordless vacuum for quick and easy cleaning!

Fredi and I picked out our first knife set together at Costco when he visited Texas for the first time. They were on sale for $15! Now, three years later, our Costco knives have plastic flakes that come off on everything we cut haha. We are really excited about trying out Japanese knives as you can cut really thin slices of vegetables!

I love creating art for our apartment. The new apartment that Fredi and I are moving into has more space than our current one- so I'll be painting lots of new pieces :)

We finally have room for a workout area! Our favorite workouts are yoga, weight lifting and body weight exercises. With chinup bar, bench and weights in sight there will be no more excuses for us.

You could say we are suckers for plants- we absolutely love them! Now that we're moving to a more tropical city and have more space, we won't be able to stop ourselves from going on a plant shopping spree.

Our new kitchen has an area for bar stools! It's perfect for sitting while we're cutting our many veggies, and giving each other company :)

Fredi and I LOVE cooking Asian food- but we don't have a Wok yet. This is the missing piece for the perfect Asian meal :)

Spain is famous for ceramics and bright, colorful tiles! We're excited to pick out our new balcony table and enjoy many meals and card games while enjoying the Spanish sun :)

Fun fact about Fredi: he is actually a quarter Iranian! Persian rice cookers are a speciality in his family's cooking because you can create a crust on the bottom of the rice! We always love his mom's rice and are excited to start making it ourselves :)

We love cooking- big pans are our go to tool! With the induction stovetop in our new home, we need all new kitchenware.

A crockpot is ideal for us- simply throw it all in and come back 6 hours later to a finished meal. Among our favorites is crockpot steel cut oats for breakfast! For any time really :)

Our new apartment has a fancy stovetop- induction heating. The benefits are that the food cooks super evenly and the stove gets instantly hot and instantly cold! However, the bottoms of the pots need to have a certain material to work so we need a new set.

So much happening in the past few months, especially with moving countries! We're looking forward to a nice, relaxing massage as a part of a date day once we arrive in Spain!
