People who know Kim best know that she can't live without her coffee. She had a small single shot espresso machine back in college and has missed it ever since it broke many many years ago. We'd like this to be an investment in titrating her off the Starbucks lol.

Hygge is the definition of our hearts. It's the Danish concept of creating an atmosphere of warmth, well-being, comfort, and coziness. When you feel at peace and able to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with the people you love. The ability to be calm, content, and present in the moment. Good food, festive drinks, soft lighting, cozy blankets and socks, fragrant candles, thoughtful books/song lyrics/podcasts, meaningful conversations, comfortable silences, beautiful view, fresh air, deep breaths. Because hygge sounds better than a couple of introverted social recluses, lol 🥰

An amazing mental health therapist Esther Perel created this. She specializes in relationships, love, and intimacy, and her work has really challenged me in wonderful ways over the last several years. I can't wait to explore through these questions with Thomas as we continually share the stories of ourselves with each other throughout life.

Being the daughter of a home economics teacher of 30+ years (I love you Mom 😉), Kim is determined to improve her baking skills. She is nostalgic about family recipes, wants to bring them into the family she and Thomas are creating, as well as to create new family traditions together.

We only have combined odd-ball old faded plastic versions left between us (except for a very special one from Thomas' mom Debi, which is a sacred piece of nostalgia kept close to heart). I hear they don't make these like they used to, and that any old versions found are to be treasured, so we'd joyfully receive any vintage ones if anyone's throwing them out, lol.

We love how multi-functional this is! Is it for the sweet treats Kim will whip up in the KitchenAid mixer or for Thomas' all things cheese and hot sauce spreads - thankfully it's both! 🤪
