For anyone who doesn't know, Kim has been in school for Massage Therapy for the past two years, and graduates in December! Massage therapists often need to travel with their tables to appointments, and having one that is lightweight can help prevent injury. Pisces tables are known for being durable, comfortable and high quality, as well as incredibly lightweight. Kim's back will thank you for any contribution you can make toward this gift!

For those of you who don't know, Julia has a condition called Crohn's Disease. We wanted to take this opportunity to donate to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation to "fuel research, support, and progress for the IBD community".

SOAR, or Support Our Autism Rainbow, was created in 2004 by a group of parents (including Kim's mom!) who wanted their children with autism to form friendships with their neurotypical classmates. Today, it serves for elementary, middle, and high school students across the Half Hollow Hills School District. Alex and Kim were both deeply involved with this organization growing up, and hope it will continue to thrive for many years to come.

The WCK provides hot meals & clean water to food insecure people around the world. They specifically are doing work in Palestine right now, where starvation is widespread due to Israel's blockade of humanitarian aid. This issue is especially close to our hearts, as Judaism is being used as a political tool to justify this atrocity. By donating to WCK, we say that Jewish law commands us to feed the hungry-- not the opposite.

New York Civil Liberties Union "advances civil rights and civil liberties so that all New Yorkers can live with dignity, liberty, justice, and equality". In a time when vulnerable communities are facing arrest, detention, and deportation, we feel it is important to support civil liberties and human dignity for all, regardless of immigration status.

For those who don't know, Kim is about to graduate from a 2 year program in Massage Therapy! A vital way for massage therapists to gain clients and do event-based work is through chair massage. Every time Kim gains a new client from a chair massage, she will be grateful for your contribution to this gift!

This will help us pay for the security deposit for our new apartment!

This will be used for two things: as a guest mattress for those staying with us, and as a mat for shiatsu! (A type of Japanese massage that is best performed on the floor.) Kim plans to practice shiatsu professionally after graduation, and also Jules loves it and has found it to be helpful for their Crohn's symptoms.
