Petit Comité is a 100% Catalan cuisine restaurant, one of the most "authentic Catalan" you can find in Barcelona (the chef has said publicly he is not using any non-Catalan ingredients such as soy sauce or yuzu). It has reopened in 2014 under the direction of a new chef: the one Michelin-starred Nandu Jubany (Can Jubany, Calldetenes, one hour away from Barcelona). You will be able to find here the very real essence of Catalan cuisine, combined with the best seasonal and local products, presented in very contemporary and trendy way.

How could we skip tasting wine in one of the most famous regions in the world?

A young, hip restaurant in downtown Bordeaux. Their prix fixe menu changes frequently, but we're excited to dip in and see what they're serving up.

There's no better way to start a day of exploring Nice than with coffee and pastries at a table next to the sidewalk.

This town is full of great cafes and amazing views of the Mediterranean. We'll combine the best of both for a picture-perfect lunch break during a day of touristing.

We'll be busy exploring this great ocean side town, but will definitely be sure to stop and enjoy the view - with a drink in hand of course!

The Old Town of Nice (or Vieux Nice as the locals call it) is one of the city’s main attractions. It's a hive of activity, buzzing both day and night. On our first day, we'll take a walking tour to make sure we don’t miss some of the great sites and traditional restaurants with an unmistakable baroque Mediterranean vibe.

Marseille, founded by the Greeks, is the oldest city in France and located in the picturesque Provence region, on the shores of the Mediterranean. Historical attractions feature throughout the city, including the Vieux-Port (Old Port) and the Panier district, the most ancient quarter in France. Famous Marseille landmarks include the Notre Dame de la Garde, a cathedral situated at the highest point of the city, and the Abbey of Saint Victor. The narrow streets of the old town mean that they are best explored on foot and visitors can choose from a range of guided walking tours.

We're looking forward to exploring this fishing town - and finishing the day with a great sunset view and a cocktail (or two) in hand.

Michelin gave this restaurant three stars, explaining that the cuisine at chef Gérald Passédat's Le Petit Nice in Marseille "is steeped in Provence." Seafood and flavors of the Mediterranean — which the restaurant overlooks — predominate the menu.

We'll take it slow for a day and chill on the beach with a nice bottle of wine. And cheese to help us maintain our beach bodies. :)

One can never attend too many sunset cruises whilst honeymooning.
