Once upon a time, I went to school for baking and pastry—and while nursing is my current path, sugar, flour, and a good rolling pin will always feel like home. Baking classes on our honeymoon would be the sweetest treat—especially if I can convince Michael to stop “taste testing” every single ingredient. Okay—my book collection. Let’s be honest. Michael lovingly funds and enables this ever-growing library, even though I already have a physical TBR taller than me and a Kindle library that could crush a small village. But books are my happy place, and there’s nothing better than getting lost in a new story (or five). We bleed scarlet and gray—helloooo, Ohio State Buckeyes are life! Michael and I are huge fans (and yes, we may have Maroon 5’s “Haven’t Met You Yet” subtly replaced in our playlists by “Hang on Sloopy”).
