We would like to get away for a few days to celebrate our new beginnings! We have booked 3 nights at the Laguna Shores Resort in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico and will drive down there on January 4th. We know it won’t prime “beach” weather, but are excited to breathe some warm(er) ocean air and relax to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Also hoping for a nice massage at the spa…

We both love taking photos and keeping those visual reminders of a perfect sunset or the crashing waves. It was important to us to find someone (that wasn’t family or a guest!) to document our special day completely, and was what ultimately tipped the scales and led us away from a traditional venue package. Spinal surgery and a slow recovery combined with Firefly’s troublesome medical issues and resistance to treatment was enough to almost break me in every way- but Kendall was there every step to keep me going (even when he was barely hanging on himself). He held me up through my subsequent job loss and denial of unemployment benefits and much of our moving expenses have unfairly fallen on his shoulders. We have a completely fresh start ahead but could use an extra safety net to help us on our way. Thanks!

We currently have a queen size mattress and it just isn’t quite big enough for the 2 of us (and the cats). Ideally we would like a Split King with adjustable bases because I twitch A LOT while sleeping and Kendall is a very light sleeper…that way we each have enough room and his side won’t be disturbed by my spasms. I’ve almost exhausted the prescription medication options and have struck out so far. Looking at Nectar mattresses and bases currently, but need them to go on sale again. Open to suggestions!
